Vertically Integrated Polymer Manufacturing
From raw polymer chemistry to finished product. Five UK factories, seven specialist divisions, and over 36 years of engineering materials that perform in the world's toughest environments.
Engineering Excellence Since 1988
Rosehill Group was founded in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire in 1988. What started as a specialist polymer company has grown into a vertically integrated manufacturer operating seven divisions from five dedicated factories — all within the Calder Valley. We formulate our own chemistry, manufacture our own products, and control quality at every stage.
Today our products are installed in over 50 countries. We recycle more than 350,000 end-of-life tyres each year, transforming them into high-performance systems for highways, railways, playgrounds, and defence. Vertical integration means we can develop, test, and deliver faster than anyone else in our sector.
Five Factories. One Valley.
All five manufacturing sites are located within the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire — giving us tight quality control and fast turnaround across every product line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Rosehill Group?
Rosehill Group is a UK manufacturer of advanced polymer and rubber-based materials, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. The group operates seven specialist divisions covering highways, rail, security, energy, sports surfacing, drainage and chemical formulation, with products installed in more than 50 countries. Its legal entity is Rosehill Polymers Ltd, Company No 02283308.
Is Rosehill Group the same company as Rosehill Polymers?
Yes. Rosehill Group is the unified brand of Rosehill Polymers Ltd. In 2025 the company brought its division brands, previously known as Rosehill Highways, Rosehill Rail, Rosehill Security, Rosehill Sports and Play (Rosehill TPV) and Rosehill Polymers, together under the Rosehill Group name and the rosehill.group domain. The same people, factories and products continue under the unified brand.
What does Rosehill Group manufacture?
Rosehill manufactures polymer and rubber products for infrastructure: traffic calming and cycle lane protection (Rosehill Highways), level crossing and anti-trespass systems (Rosehill Rail), hostile vehicle mitigation and ballistic protection (Rosehill Security), subsea coatings and thermal insulation (Rosehill Energy), TPV sports and playground surfacing granules (Rosehill Sports and Play), drainage systems (Rosehill Drainage) and bespoke polymer formulations (Rosehill Chemicals).
Where is Rosehill Group based?
Rosehill is based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, where it operates five factories in the Calder Valley: Hopkinson Mill, Spring Bank Mills, Rose Hill Mills, Watson Mill and Ryburn Mills. All manufacturing takes place in the UK.
What is hostile vehicle mitigation?
Hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) is the use of physical barriers to stop vehicles being driven into people or buildings, deliberately or accidentally. Rosehill Security manufactures surface-mounted HVM barriers rated to the PAS 68 and IWA 14-1 impact standards, designed for rapid deployment without excavation.
How does Rosehill use recycled materials?
Rosehill recycles more than 350,000 end-of-life tyres every year into long-life infrastructure products such as traffic calming, rail crossing panels and drainage systems. The company is also an authorised Nike Grind licensee, incorporating recycled Nike manufacturing material into its cycle lane protection range.
